The device stopped working, what should I do?
1. Units usually stop working due to a batteries problem. Therefore, try to charge the unit 24 hours, using the adapter.
2. Also, make sure not to place the unit where it can get water. The unit is only resistant to light rain.
If you performed the above steps, and the machine still does not work, your unit is probably damaged. Please let us know to get warranty assistance.
The device does not hold charging or the batteries run out quickly, what should I do?
1. Charge the unit, 24 hours, using the adapter.
place the device in a place where it can receive direct sunlight dor at least 8 hours a day, to keep the batteries charged.
2. If it is not possible for the device to receive direct sunlight for 8 hours a day – connect the adapter regularly or charge the unit 24 hours when the batteries run out.
If the batteries still run out quickly or in less than 7 days – the batteries are damaged and need to be replaced (rechargeable batteries only, preferably with a capacity of at least 2500 mA).
Basically, batteries are not covered under our warranty. But if your unit’s batteries are damaged, we’ll be happy to provide you with new batteries.
The device makes a lot of noise, what should I do?
Our device can work in sonic or ultrasonic mode.
Mode # 3 is completely quiet to the human ear.
Also remember, mode # 3 is not effective on all animals.
The device works nonstop, what should I do?
Our device has a very sensitive motion detector, every small movement makes it start to work so that even small animals slowly creeping into your property will be detected by the device.
If you see that your unit is working almost continuously, we recommend setting it to mode 3 (completely silent) or lower the sensitivity using the left knob. (Remember, if you lower the sensitivity too much, the effectiveness may be affected.)
If the device works non-stop even when you bring it home, to a room with no movements at all – the motion sensor is damaged, and contact us for service.
The device does not deter pests, what should I do?
1. Be sure to place the unit in direct sunlight for at least 8 hours a day and charge the unit 24 hours if necessary, or connect the adapter regularly.
2. You have to make sure that the device works properly during the night while there is no direct sunlight (unless you are connected to a constant voltage source using the supplied adapter).
3. Please select an operating mode according to the animal you want to deter (use the instructions manual provided).
4. We recommend that you change the frequency a bit every two weeks, so that the animals will not get used to it.
5. If the animals are still not deterred, we recommend that your device work non-stop (at least for a short period): Turn the sensitivity knob all the way to the right and connect the charger regularly, or charge the unit every two days for 24 hours.
Remember, the device creates an unpleasant living environment for the animals, some will leave immediately, and some will leave after a week to a month, then place the device and let it work.
In most cases, pets will not leave!
The most effective coverage area is 7-10 ft (2-3 m).
